Teenager shot to loss of life at main Chicago tourist vacation spot

A 16-year-previous boy was shot to death close to the renowned “The Bean” sculpture in Chicago’s Millennium Park on Saturday.

Police have taken two suspects into custody in relation to the taking pictures, but authorities have but to launch names or a motive for the capturing. The boy, Seandell Holliday, was shot at the well-liked vacationer attraction all-around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, according to police.

“Previously this evening, a 16-12 months-outdated was tragically killed in the vicinity of Millennium Park. This senseless decline of lifetime is utterly unacceptable,” Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said in a statement Saturday evening. “Tonight, a mom is grief-stricken, mourning the reduction of her little one and looking for responses. My heart is breaking for the mom as she grieves this unspeakable reduction.”

Holliday was 1 of many Chicago teens to be shot this weekend. At minimum three many others were shot – one particular fatally – in incidents across the town among Friday and Saturday.
