Twenty years back, evo was a smaller-scale shlepper of specialty out of doors tools. Various branchings off and 600 workforce later, the multifarious company will attempt its hand as an city journey hotelier.
Get out your planners, since as of Feb. 1, the evo Resort will be open for business. Here’s what we know about this experience hotel so far.
evo Hotel: Adventures & Campus SLC
The company’s flagship lodge and urban resort lies within just Salt Lake City’s Granary District, mere minutes from the closest trails, slopes, and climbing locations.
On evo grounds, friends will find a bevy of activities and artwork.
Lodge & Guest Rooms
At 50 guest rooms, the resort borders on boutique. Each home will element the work of a diverse artist, and patrons can pick out from four normal motifs:
- Boulder: Retro, industrial vibes, and found higher than the hotel’s climbing gymnasium
- Bunk: Minimalist but cush, with area for the crew
- Rafter: Cozy, lush, and situated superior over any bustle
- Wasatch: Private patio with views of the Wasatch Variety
Pricing for the stays starts at $126 for the simple solitary-mattress place and goes up to $160 for the six-bunk suite.
Campus Salt Lake Things to do & Amenities
But outside the house the door is wherever experience awaits, appropriate? Lodging is only a person part of the resort’s 100,000-square-foot campus.
Attendees of the lodge have entry to all Campus Salt Lake amenities, including (but not minimal) to:
- All Jointly skatepark
- Bouldering Challenge climbing gymnasium (opening April 2022)
- evo Salt Lake equipment store
- Amount 9 Sports
Soon, evo will open up the Sector Hall, which will give room for a handful of further TBD options.
For a firm that, purportedly, aims to “bring all factors pertinent to [its] neighborhood into 1 resourceful area,” the evo Resort strikes me as unapologetically on-brand name.
